Jessie Jaynes-Diming is a community activist and president of the Tallahatchie Alliance as well as a board member of the Emmett Till Interpretive Center. Born in Chicago, Jaynes-Diming also is a member of the Emmett Till Memorial Commission and a tour guide with the Mississippi Delta Experience Touring Service. She was a featured speaker at the opening of the National Museum of American History’s 2021 exhibition, “Reckoning with Remembrance: History, Injustice, and the Murder of Emmett Till.”
